OAFE is a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to raise awareness of the agri-food industry by providing educational programs and resources to schools and school boards.
The purpose of Farms Food Fun is to continue growing agri-food awareness by providing you with information and resources on the agri-industry. There have been some fun elements added to the site in order to make it enjoyable for all ages.
Organized by topics, the website is made easy to navigate and is suitable for everyone.
Contributors to this website include Ontario Farm Animal Council (OFAC) and AGCare (Agricultural Groups Concerned About Resources and the Environment).
OFAC is a registered, non-profit agricultural, educational organization. OFAC represents Ontario’s 35,000 livestock and poultry farmers plus many other agricultural groups and businesses involved in animal agriculture and food production.
AGCare is defined as a coalition of agricultural groups that represent Ontario's 45,000 growers of field and horticultural crops. The organization provides science and research-based information and policy initiatives on pesticide use, crop biotechnology developments, nutrient management and other related environmental issues on behalf of its membership.
